5 out of 5 starsDelivery was super prompt and the product quality is good. The hand-stitched characters were lovely and I love that it has sturdy pockets for small loose items. 10/10 will purchase again!

5 out of 5 starsArrived very promptly! Also a great and sturdy tote bag for, really, anything (in this instance, cat toys. Can’t get more “chapalang” than that!).

Frequently asked questions
Seriously? You named your store SLOWPOKE?
Well, if that doesn’t give you a hint about the speed at which cross-stitching is done at the store, what will? But semi-joke aside, SLOWPOKE is a tongue-in-cheek term of endearment for the people at the heart of the store: needy Singaporeans who lag behind in society due to complex issues such as unforeseen circumstances, chronic illnesses, and systemic challenges—they are whom receive 100% of net proceeds of the products sold here.
Right, so tell me how your net proceeds are calculated.
Net proceeds are what's left after Etsy's service fees of approximately 20% per transaction have been deducted. With the exception of custom orders, costs of all materials, workmanship, and postage fees are fully borne by the store.
What is Slowmail and why does it only ship within Singapore?
Slowmail is SLOWPOKE’s proprietary delivery service that includes free postage and a waiting time of 3-5 business days from the day of dispatch. At the moment, Slowmail only ships within Singapore because 100% of net proceeds of the store are donated to local causes. But if you’re an overseas Singaporean who would like to support the less privileged from afar, or you would just like to have a piece of SLOWPOKE, simply click on CONTACT SHOP OWNER for postage prices to your country of residence.
Last question: do you accept custom orders?
Are snails slow? Of course SLOWPOKE accepts custom orders! One-of-a-kind, made-just-for-you pieces are how SLOWPOKE pays for materials to create products that raise funds for locals in need. To get a chat started on a custom piece, just click on CONTACT SHOP OWNER. You should know, though, SLOWPOKE only creates politically incorrect cross-stitch. (Google it.)
